I had considered "shaving" just a small area if needed

My GSD has one of the shortest coats I have seen for a GSD and I still prefer to use the 3/4" versus the 1/2" standard probes with him. So for me the IQ plastic probes looked really short also.
I ended up ordering the einstein bark collar. I just switched my regular ecollar to einstein from dogtra and I really like it. The bark collar hasn't arrived yet so I can't tell you how I like it. But choosing a bark collar was much harder than just choosing a regular ecollar.
It does have an auto setting where depending on how frequently the dogs keeps barking after a level 1 correction it will automatically up to the next level and so on. Then if the dog has been quiet for a certain amount of time the process starts over again back at level 1 if barking starts again. I am really curious to see how well it works.
I know people who have used the Dogtra YS 300 (I think?? the med-small dog) and had no complaints. I think when you order from dogtra they can switch out the probe lengths for you when you order if you want longer than the standard.
I also know some people will shave a small area on the neck with the coated dogs and you can't even see it once the hair falls in around the area again.

Which anti bark collar??
I'm tossing up between 2 bark collars for my female. Shes a coatie so I'm a bit worried I may need reasonably long "probes"
I really like the look of the Dogtra IQ anti bark collar but I'm wondering if it's to small so the real question is has anyone used one of them on a GSD with success??
What other brands have you used and been happy with??
