|GSxOwner||Oh yes! We are doing well with distractions- I think it's because we have a good "watch me" going on. She is able to sit at the end of the aisle of the Pet Store with dogs around and "stay" all the while watching me with the leash dropped and she is SO eager to come when called. I love training I feel like you can teach them anything really!|

|Mary Beth||Great idea! Your post didn't say, but now is the time to work with the distractions - start with a squirrel in the backyard|

Just something I notice with my Pup of 5 months- her recall is really good and I am super happy with it so I thought I would share incase anyone is frustrated with it. From day one I would SUPER excitedly yell Tank's name and "come" and basicay throw a parade of praise and give some treats EVERYTIME she came. Now when I am aroud the house I have a special extra yummy treat (usually cooked chicken breast) and I randomly yell for her to come and she is SOOOOOO eager because she knows I now sometimes have the extra yummy treats
With my first dog recall was quite stressful when she would try and chase deer...so I hope this helps someone!
