Not planning on rappeling with the harness - I would only need it for a lift/short ascend (over small obstacles for my old pal).
What I like about this harness (apart from being safety tested) is that: it seems easy on/off (it has buckles and than when lifting you attact to metal rings (so no pressure on buckles)), and has a lot of paded under chest part...
I was looking at the webmaster harness but it doesn't seem padded enough for my liking - it only has straps under chest and belly.
As for the double-back - I do think it has suffiecient padding but I am affraid that it could get a bit hot?
Also as per the video I think it would be PITA to put it on a longhaired dog (which mine is)...
But thank you in any case and I am also open to other suggestions of insertion harnesses

No experience with the harness. Are you rappelling with the dog or just using for lift assist.
I have considered the Ruffwear Double Back harness for my dog. I inherited a webmaster harness and I really like it though my application would be for working the dog on a boat and the occasional pulling back into the boat and you don't trust a nylon buckle to bear weight.
I would certainly look at it too........I like the removable leg loops. Several of our team dogs use the webmaster as their primary tracking harness and they seem quite durable.

I am looking into getting this rappelling dog harness:

and this agitation harness

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with those 2 harnesses?
I would like to use the first one for just short descends/ascends (not with a helicopter). I like that it can be left on the dog (unlike some other rappelling harnesses that cannot be worn by the dog when walking...)
The second harness would be used as a general walking harness for my old pal, not for agitation, but I like that it is strong enough...
