|Nigel||Hello and Welcome! Just know that if you start a thread and you do not receive replies early on, bump your thread. Some times it takes a while for those with knowledge regarding your issues to see it. I've seen threads go a day or two with zilch, then the right people see it and it takes off.|

High hopes for this forum.
My name is Rita, I've long adored GSDs, it was this very breed that helped me learn to walk as a child. His name was Max. I have years of experience keeping dogs, but I've finally gotten my own German Shepherd Dog. She was born June 24th this year. Her name is Kaya, she gets frustrated easily when problem solving and has hiccups almost every day lately. She's a very funny little dog. She is also my first large breed I myself am raising from a pup. The closest is my Aussie. I'm learning more every day and try to keep an open mind about everything that could benefit my dogs. On that note, I'm all about sharing ideas and learning new things but my experience with "animal people" has shown me that so many seem to think that their way is THE way. I come here hoping to talk to people, share stories and learn better ways to keep my pups happy. I'm hoping I don't run into that same snobbery and cliques that rule the reptile forum I'm on. ( I raise various snakes and keep many other reptiles.) So here's hoping for new friends and happy canines.
