I do believe in fate and things happening for a reason.
When my female gsd sami passed, I started looking for another female , not to replace her but to somehow maybe honor her I guess? Anyhow, I found one and didn't realize she was born on Sami's birthday..To honor that, I named her "Masi", a play on letters from Sami's name.
She reminds me of her in certain ways and quirky things she does, and has helped heal the hole in my heart that sami left..

Just meant to be.
I dont know how many people on here are spiritual or believe in things happening for a reason.
I lost my father when I was a child, he was my mentor, my guide, my hero and my best friend. I could rely on him to be there for me through my very rough start to life. So when he passed away, I lost everything and I had never truly gotten through it, till the day I met Rain.
Always wanting another German Shepherd after my childhood dog passed away, I decided to make the leap and find a friend. After months of researching the breed, meeting several owners of them I decided it was time.
Originally wanting a boy, I made an appointment with a breeder to view some pups. After spending a lot of time studying their behaviours, one little girl caught my eye. She was very playful and driven, throughout sitting with the pups she repeatedly came to my side, finally falling asleep with her head on my foot. None of the other pups showed too much interest.
After deciding she had the personality I was looking for, not too mention the looks. I filled out all of the paper work to discover she shares my fathers birthday.
Since the day I brought her home, she has been faithful, playful and a whole other bunch of things I could only hope for.
I may have lost my dad, but I gained a very dear friend. Attachment 106426Attachment 106434
