|ashpaw||Just an update for everyone. She's been doing fine now with the eating. I added water to her meals and it's definitely slower her down. Thanks everyone!|

|Nigel||I've heard of using muffin pans, just spread out their food, a little in each hole.|

|Shade||I agree with adding a little warm water to the kibble, Delgado would inhale his food in seconds and I found adding the water slowed him down and both dogs actually prefer it surprisingly.|

Great idea! I'll try the toy thing if she continues to eat quickly even with at special bowl I'm using. Hopefully it was just a one time incident. Thanks for the advise!

Last night she finished abnormally fast. This morning, I handed her a few kibbles at a time before placing her breakfast down. She was fine this morning. Maybe it was a speed eating issue? I'll keep an eye on her method of eating dinner tonight. And see if it happens tonight... *crosses fingers*

That's the type of bowl I use. But I think she's found her own way to eat quickly out of it.

We put a couple of toys in the bowl to slow down the eating.
When my dog vomits I keep a close eye on him. I check gums for color, the pulse, stomach for tightness or bloating and just general behavior to see if he's distressed. The last time this happened to my puppy (almost 10 months) it was obvious he was in distress. We went straight to the vet. If your puppy is acting normal now she is probably fine.
I know it's very upsetting when your puppy is ill.

We began so soak her food in water to make it soft.
It also forced her to drink the water first, which by the time she got to the kibble, she had calmed down quite a bit.
Also, if you think this might be the issue, you might want to try something like these. Im pretty sure they carry these at petsmart.
