|LoriH||Got a good chuckle out of all these posts. I can relate. My arms are scarred from the land shark stage and now at almost 6 months Axel has given me a black eye and two weeks later a nice bump on the nose and he didn't even flinch when our heads made contact.|

So far I've been relatively lucky .. I'm not sure how long it will last. I had a bruise the size of a baseball on my leg where I caught my dog as he dashed by playing chase with another dog (eh .. he's always the chaser, never the chasee .. something wrong with that picture).
Last night, not sure why it hurt so badly, but he pushed off/stepped on my foot while galloping in the shallows at the lake. I told my husband on the phone later that night .. "why is the TOP of my foot so sore????" I figured it out later .. 'oh yeah, he stepped on me'. I've been hobbling ever since.

Other than spraining the heck out of my ankle while walking the mutt and Rattie (still aches after two + years), I think the worst injury I've gotten was when Leo decided I could live without my right knee, a tried to remove it with her skull. The knee was already messed up in high school, and Leo's head butt didn't do it any good. I was in a brace for a couple of weeks, and it just gives out on me every so often.
I've had a few hits in the past week or so that made me see stars, but at least I was already sitting down in a chair, so I didn't get knocked flat. Leo and Ilka have hard heads.
Oh, yeah, Ilka sprained my left pinky finger last month. I had her on a long line when she went after a possum.

Well, it was months ago that Lycan knocked me down the stairs and my knee clunked against the stair post. It's still swollen and numb....and my doctor still assures me there is nothing wrong with it.

When I read the subject I was ready to cry & get mad...glad you made me laugh instead.
The biggest for me is the kisses that leave black eyes.

|selzer||Remember the movie Jaws, where Matt Hooper and Quint are comparing shark bite scars. I feel like that sometimes. But I have to agree it is when their hard head hits my hard head, and you can guess who gets the worst of that encounter. The one time, the blood vessels in Milla's eyes popped, so her eyes were all red. The vet wondered if I needed treatment. That time I don't think I had a concussion, but when Whitney was jumping up onto her her dog shelter at the moment I was bending over for her ball, and I was instantly sick to my stomach when my head exploded and my legs went all funny. Whit did not eat for two days, so I think she did not come away unscathed either.|
