Okay thanks guys. The feeding hours are kind of reflective of our schedule, Usually she wakes up at 10 am when I do (I'm lucky I know) and goes to bed around 1am with me at night so feeding her at 8ish has worked really well since she's up for 5 more hours. But I'll try feeding her a little earlier for her meals.
Her growth has really really slowed in the past month (she's 8 months old now) and I have been feeding her the same amount of food for months, I think I'm going to check on the bag - she might just need less food now that she's slowing down growing.

|Mary Beth||I agree with Doggie Dad - that 8 pm feeding could be too late. My Sting gets three meals a day and sometimes he just isn't hungry which is fine with me. I just pick the food up after 20 minutes and put it away for the next meal. I don't make the meals any larger. Sometimes he will skip breakfast and lunch, but always eats supper.|

i would change the hours she eats. 7am or 8am, noonish and 5pm or so.
she may not be hungry in the am because of the 8pm feeding. maybe she
doesn't like what you're feeding. i had to switch food twice because my
dog stopped eating what he was being fed.

eating habit change
I know GSDs are typically picky eaters and stuff...
Lately Lara has been ignoring her dog food in the morning. She will sniff it and walk away, usually eat it at about 4 in the afternoon, wants her dinner, etc. She is NOT acting sick at all. we did not change foods. I didn't spoil her with too much people food recently. She just seems like she no longer wants to eat in the morning ?? Sometimes she'll go all day without food and then be hungry at night and drooling in my lap over the things I am eating
Is it normal for sometimes their habits to just change? She used to eat at about 11am, 4pm, 8pm, but lately she has been skipping the first meal and I've tried to make the dinner ones a little larger.
