I have a wt metall campeon four dog trailer. I like it- it's lightweight and so easy to handle on and off the car. My small HHR can even tow it. I like the dual axles and the inner security bar doors. I like the onboard battery and ventilation fan. Also, having had a dog injured on a rough interior of a dog trailer, I like that the interior of the stalls are smooth and there's really nothing for them to get hung up on. I love the insulation and the raised wood slat floors.
I don't like that you have to get the tire pressure right or it will bounce like crazy. Once I let air out of the tires it was much, much better, but drive it first with no dogs till you get the pressure right. I wish the vent fan was stronger and had reversable flow. I would like some ventilation between the stalls so the dogs can see each other.
I had a six dog jones, and older model. The interior finish was rough and there was no interior door- didn't feel safe- if a door came open there was nothing for the dog to hold on to keep from sliding out. But it was a very solid, well insulated trailer, and looked really nice- like a little airstream trailer. I rode in it, and it was noisy and a little rough, but not too bad. It was a single axle.

Let's talk dog trailers
So I am starting to look into getting a dog trailer. I'm getting tired of my truck getting thrashed. Plus (I cant believe I'm going to admit this) my truck is out of room. Three XL crates in the bed, and the crew cab is packed with gear. So I'm leaning towards a 4 hole dog trailer with some type of storage so I can keep all my dog stuff in it. So far I like the WT thermo max. So what trailer do you have and what do you like/dislike about it?
