When the dessert menu or trolley comes I always just order an aperitif or coffee with liquor. I don't waste calories on dessert.
However, we have my Grandmother's dark rum Christmas Cake recipe - and although we have had to omit nuts due to my daughter's allergy, it's baked on Thanksgiving (Second weekend in October) and wrapped in rum soaked cheesecloth until Christmas Day, other than that - plum pudding.
We can't do desserts anymore, aside from fruit and whipped cream, cakes and such I bake from scratch, I seem to have trouble with protein and fat, dd has a peanut and tree nut allergy... My mother is gluten-free. My father is a special diet - dh is just as happy with a candy bar from a vending machine.

It's a toss up between Cupcake Royale's tiramisu cupcakes (had them for my wedding too I loved them so much)
and Cafe Nouveau's twice baked almond croissants...both are so good

...and something my mother used to make (hopefully Mrs. K will see this!)
Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (Black Forest Cherry Cake)
It is German Chocolate cake, layered, drizzled (in the old fashioned way) with cherry liquer, whipped cream frosting and cherries.
Heaven on a fork (btw German tortes tend to not be as sweet as cakes in the U.S.)

Um, everything. I have THE WORST sweet tooth EVER. I'm particularly a fan of cheesecake (and all cheese-based deserts...like canolis) and anything peanut butter/chocolate.
My grandmother makes a cherry cream cheese pie that will always have a nostalgic place in my heart. Graham cracker crumb crust, cream cheese/condensed milk/lemon juice filling, cherry compote or canned cherry pie filling on top. Basic but so delicious.
My father and I are big fans of coming up with our own ice cream recipes. I'd love to make a book of them someday. I did a chocolate ricotta ice cream with red-wine roasted cherries the other day.
(Can you tell I get really excited about food??)

My favourite dessert...homemade apple pie
Other notables are apple crisp, DQ ice cream cake, and peanut butter cookies.
Honestly I'm not a dessert person though, we grew up very rarely having it so for me having one dessert every few months is not a problem I really don't have any cravings for something sweet and I'm very picky. Not just any dessert will do, it has to be a very good version of a dessert I love for me to be happy eating more then just enough to be socially graceful if it's put in front of me.
