Also sorry about your grandmother, and pnuemonia is no fun!!
I think Penny is probably just really excited to be home, she most likely didn't get much "me" time at boarding, nor enough exercise so she's feeling her oats.
As for the diarhea, well it could be all the excitement, or she may have picked up something while boarding..Keep an eye on it, if it doesn't straighten out in a day or so I'd take a fecal to the vet
Glad you made it home safely

We went on just a two night vacation a few weeks ago. Our then 7 month old pup was a terror when we got home. We had a very qualified pet sitter, but he seemed to have lost all of his manners within a two day period. It only took a day or two to remind him who is boss and how he should behave.
I don't think Penny resents you, I just think she needs some reminding about her place in your pack.
I'm sorry about your grandma and pneumonia. No fun.

Back from Vacation I think Penny hates me now
Well, I know most of you know me and Penny and what we have been through together. I just got back from my vacation, and I ended up having to extend it because my grandmother passed away while I was "home" (my home town) I then get back to where I live and go straight to the ER and find out I have Pneumonia! (that was not a pleasant 22 hour drive home Ill tell you feeling like I was dying)
I picked Penny up Sunday around noon and she has been such a little....bugger to say it nicely there is another word I have been using lol ... but she is doing things that she has never done before like trying to take my nephews toys... jumping on my nephew, jumping on me! (which she has never done before) trying to chew everything insight, getting into everything, wont sit still, pulling me when I take her for her walk to do her business (again she has never had a problem pulling on the leash) and she is driving me nuts! She also has really bad diarrhea which I dont know why I was told she was fine when she was boarded, but she has had explosive diarrhea since I brought her home...
Does Penny resent me for leaving her? Or whats going on... I was making a little bit of progress with her before I left with some things and feels like I went back to square 1, she did wake me last night but I think if she wasn't having the diarrhea she wouldnt have woke me but even the time it took to get her out of her crate she did it in the house I didnt give her trouble for it because she couldnt help it (poor thing).
I did buy a prong collar today (yes I have it properly fitted and I know how to use it and when to (my trainer showed/taught me) and she responded instantly to corrections with that so I am pleased and look forward to start out training again but it will have to wait till I feel better, I havent even been able to take her for a long walk because I can barely breath and I wont let her play with her flirt pole anymore because she hurt her back leg chasing it like the maniac she is...
Anyway.. Im back! And its time I crack down on Penny and I hope withing the next few months Ill start to actually see the progress
