|dioworld||I was trying to use toy as motivation to train my dog since he's not into food, but the problem with him is he grew up playing toys/tugs only inside the house. Everytime we go out with him, he bring him to dog parks, dog meets, training to socialize and play with other dogs. So now when he goes out, he think he's going to play with other dogs, he completely ignores the tug. Last 2 months what i'm doing is put him on leash and slowly start playing tug with him in front yard, slowly maybe even 1-2 minutes of time, slowly adding time & taking him out to other places to play tug. what you can try is remove allt he sticks put him on leash, forcing him to play with you, little at a time, make the game interesting for him|

|Neko||We have the same issues, our pup will only play with his toys outside if we are involved. Maybe having a set of toys that are for outside only? and not allowed in the house?|

introducing toys to GSD
So our pup is a 10mth female GSD. She plays with her toys (balls, stuffed toys, etc...) in the house, but when she goes outside to play, she wants nothing to do with them and all she wants to do is play with the sticks in the yard. Is there a way for me to introduce to her some new toys outside and see if we can get her mind to play with these toys rather than the sticks?
