Are you talking about my dog? Lol same thing here for the past month. I think last night is was a wadded up jacket in the dry cleaning pile. The day before it was his cheap plastic wading pool that he loves.
And here's a parent fail for you. I've been teaching him to "smile." He's finally started trying but it's not on command, just random timing. And he doesn't pull his top lip high enough to show his upper teeth so all it does is expose his bottom front teeth. He just walks around randomly with a pronounced underbite.

yup!!!! I was cracking up. I mean, he has run circles around this box in the past. Sniffs it every chance he gets and today it became a monster. He's such a tough guy hiding behind mom! Halloween will be interesting.

LOL! Ilda did similar things as a puppy.
Around Halloween the life size cut out of the scary witch in the neighbor's yard was treated to much growling, posturing and barking.
We had walked by it several times without her even giving a second glance at it and then one day it was OMG where did that thing come from!

Dax, The Fierce Protector.... or not.
Okay so no he's not but it was still pretty amusing. We were getting ready to load up in the truck and head to our last OB class this morning when Dax apparently discovered the big scary electrical box that's been in the front yard forever as far as he's concerned. He's sniffed it, peed next to it, etc but today it was like he finally saw it for the first time and it apparently didn't belong there lol.
I finished getting everything in the truck I needed to and he starts in with the huffing. Then the fur stands up on his back and then he's pulling out his big boy bark. I'm trying to figure out what he saw or heard and I notice he's huffing and puffing at the box. Nothing over there but the box and the neighbors house. Then the big boy bark gets deeper and he's grumbling and barking and I'm cracking up. He hears me laughing and is suddenly of the opinion he needs to "protect" mom... while he hides next to me and partly behind me as he continues his tough dog act.
My name is Krystal and I am under no delusions that my PUPPY is protective in any way lol. He sure is funny though! He's my goofy boy.
