msvette2u I think whoever guessed Chessie nailed it. Chessie and Collie is now my guess. I think we had her originally listed as Collie x Retriever (generic "retriever")

She seems happy here but is really panting to deal with the stress. Poor girl. She was drooling when we got home.

msvette2u She has curly hair. She's a mess. Scared to death but growled when I got out of the car where they were waiting.
I'll try to get pics before we put her in a kennel run.

RocketDog How big is she? Her face reminds me of a beagle.

Gharrissc Looks like she could be a gsd/husky or golden retriever/gsd mix to me.

Ironically I had to search all the emails the woman sent me, and she originally applied for Caliber, a purebred GSD puppy we had at the same time as this puppy! I was like...HUH? So this puppy is obviously aggressive due to the fact she's "part GSD" yet a purebred...wouldn't have been??
Some days I hate this job!
Puppies are not aggressive, they just need to be taught manners... people are such jerks at times.

Kath & Clan I would hazard a guess at Australian shepherd and Lab or Golden, Husky/Malamute can also cause that mask. Cute rather be at any rate!

APBTLove There is a designer breed (blech) called a Golden Shepherd.

She really has a thicker head than most of them.

Maybe Lab. any labs have that heavy English head that could influence her blockiness.

If she has GSD in her, I'd say it's 1/4 or less. Something of her head (eyes, ears, and shape) really reminds me of an APBT/German Shepherd mix I fostered. However, there is something else there. Golden/lab/Heinz 57 mix, we'll never know! lol

How is she considered aggressive by the person returning her? Animal, or human aggression?

llombardo We had a golden retriever/GSD when I was younger. I wish I could find some pictures, because this one and mine could be sisters. Mine was slightly darker, but the face is the same. That was Shadow and she was quite the dog and the boss...she didn't take nothing from nobody. She ended up going blind and got diabetes, well not in that order, and lived to be 15. I miss that dog

BellaLuna Well if she is aggressive that face would fool you. Such a shame.
