selzer Last night it was cold here when I left. I have no idea what the thermometer said but the snow on the car was that dry dusty stuff, that seems to happen when it is COLD. The buckets were mostly ice this morning. Layers (of clothing) are my friend.

I got home and my back door was wide open. Yay! I'm heating the outside. The dogs can open this door so I had them baby gated away from it. But the wind must have sucked it right open. One more use for bungee cords, my back door is now being tied shut. Lovely.

Ohio is still the best place on earth to live, even with it being meth central, crime, no jobs, and weather that is, well, I think the best thing to be said about it is that it is ALWAYS worth talking about.

Powell I forgot to dump the rain guage last night, so at 6:45 I ran out and did. It was only partly frozen. I had checked after the rain stopped. This part was 1.5 inches, with a tad over 3 inches for the entire storm period.

Muddy paws, muddy towels, muddy dog, muddy paws, muddy towels....*sigh*

I would rather it be COLD and the ground freeze!

NancyJ Stepped outside for the last trip of the night and woot woot I can see the stars. No snow. Sure the temp will drop-not a cloud in sight, windy. Now for it to all dry out!

Shaolin I think it's been raining here since Monday night-ish. My yard is a huge mud puddle and it's supposed to continue until tomorrow. This is the only downside of having an all white dog. He had a bath Tuesday, then he needed one this morning after he happily ran through a mud pit.

Besides that, it's just been dreary and cold. I've not wanted to do anything but sit on my computer, watch TV, knit, or sleep. I have no energy, neither does the hubby.
01-17-2013 06:55 PM rain, cloudy, little snow, more rain and no stinkin sun!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot what the sun looks like, (very depressing).

NancyJ I think we are going to get a break before the ice and snow start. The paths Beau runs are all full of water. It will be a cold run for him but ........ I don't think he will mind. He is getting very ansty because his dirtiness has spent a lot of crate time today.
