AJT sooo...the the doctor/surgeon/vet just called! he said everything went as smoothly as one could want. she did fine under anesthesia, he closed off the duct, no bleeding out, etc. they are keeping her under observation and will call me tomorrow to see if we can take her home based on how well she is doing.

AJT so it's almost noon. haven't heard back. don't want to breath down the surgeon's neck. he has been incredibly patient and i am confident in his ability. but man, waiting is horrible.
