dogsnkiddos Snack ate another meal on her own. She even tried to jump up and sit on Boy's shoulder like a parrot I hope this infection is the root of all her ills and resolves with the meds. I eel so happy as she improves, but keep worrying that something else made her ill and this infection is just secondary. The unfortunate legacy of my loss of Beast is the constant worry that things are worse than they appear.

Thanks again everyone. Once we are past the rx food and meds we are going to make some health changes from all the tips I got. I really appreciate everything.

dogsnkiddos Happy Kitty News! Last night I took Kitty from near the furnace to bed with me. She settled in on my chest and slumbered with a light purr. When Husband came to bed he placed her on his chair- one of her favorite spots. About 4 am I heard the prick prick of claws being exercised on the chair. I immediately thought she must be feeling better if she wanted to claw! I sat up and saw she was sitting- she has only been prone for almost a week. I went out and got the 1/4 of a can of food they want fed every 8 hours. As I was measuring out her meds she ate the food of her own accord! She then came over to my bed and bunted and purred all over me. I think she feels a bit better.

BowWowMeow I would go with the first one b/c it's higher protein and lower fat. Cargeenan gum has caused problems in some cats but it's in a lot of food.
