The weekend was fantastic. Got to spend Wednesday-today with my parents. Lots of relaxing, no computer, and lots to do! My husband and I enjoyed our mini "vacation" and even went bowling, which was AWESOME.
Fingers crossed for you on the exam-- I'll be thinking of you!

There is a friend who brought her friends(police handler/trainers) over from her native country... Gus and Patrick. They were excellent at explaining it, demo-ing and working the US dogs. Though they are not use to working GSD's and that is what dominated this group!
They brought her a stud dog and Pat is bringing one of her pups back to the Netherlands to train.

Best wishes with the exam!
Great long weekend to catch up on stuff. Thanksgiving was very warm and I was able to just stay home. So I gave three dogs baths and cleaned the house, made a small turkey dinner for our family only. DH had to work this weekend so we didn't plan anything w/ others
Friday I worked, Saturday was running errands and today I was able to attend a KNPV seminar which was very informative. Played with a few dutchie pups too!
I didn't over eat, which is the best part of the weekend!

|ksotto333||It sounds like you had a very nice holiday, it's good to visit with relatives. Our was laid back, (I didn't have to cook this year ..) but got to see all the kids, the dogs were on good behavior, hard to believe it's here and gone already. Good luck on the exam. I have a feeling you'll do fine.|

Amazing! Originally it was going to just be DH and I for Thanksgiving and late Wed night we ended up adding 2 couples. All the food was great, everyone had a blast, and the dogs were good (although we had to put the toys away...didn't take Medo too long to figure out that the 2 new guys were ripe for suckering into play-time which ended up with the house in chaos with 2 GSDs sliding all over the florrs being wild).
Fri was DH's birthday. On his request we stayed in and did absolutely NOTHING but watch MI-5 all day.....and order from his favorite pizza place across town. Did a little xmas shopping online.
Sat and today was decorating for Christmas (tree shopping, putting things up, etc), lots of cooking with leftovers (homemade stock, turkey pot pie, and making DH some good Bosnian food)....
Super fun and relaxing, yet productive weekend (well, other than Friday!)

How is your Thanksgiving weekend going?
How was your Thanksgiving?!? Did you do anything? How did the dog(s) behave?
I spent it with some friends and then later with family. We played board games, ate good food, and chit-chatted. I did have some anxiety issues but all-in-all everything is going well.
My cousin and her husband also stayed with us which was wonderful because they (despite the cultural reasons not to) were happy to meet our dogs and hang out with them for a short while. They said the dogs were stinky :c which they are right now since they haven't had a bath in a while. We practiced not having them jump on them. They socialized and Zeeva was a good girl. Smokey is always good with new people. It's weird how the dogs know the difference between strangers (like maintenance people) and family, right?
My GRE exam is on Tuesday :c so I've been attempting to catch up with studying. Please pray for me that I do well so I can apply to graduate programs...
