Bear GSD It sounds like you and Zack will have a really good time. You will learn a lot from it I'm sure. How's the potty training going?

Jax08 YAY!!! You'll have fun.

Speedy2662 I signed Zack up, first lesson is on the 16th of January

Jax08 What you will learn are the basic commands...but what you should also learn is how to reason thru a training problem in a way to help your dog understand what you want. Training classes will help you bond with your puppy, give him exposure to other dogs and puppies.

Speedy2662 That's awesome, thanks!
By the way, to those who attend that kind of classes, was it helpful? what did your dog/you learnt?

Jax08 They teach YOU how to teach your dog.

Speedy2662 Oh my Gosh, my parents would never let me go for classes if they were that much!
By the way, I've never been to those classes. Do they teach you how to teach the dog or do they teach him for you?

Jax08 I pay $50 an hour for a lesson. About 32 pounds.
11-25-2012 04:08 PM
Speedy2662 Wow what, 25 pounds a lesson! That is a big price...
And it's only about 3 miles away from where I stay! 10 minutes and we're there!

Speedy2662 I agree, it sounds "fun"
There are also swimming pools for dogs if you want to go for that, and more... It seems worth it! I'll give them a call tomorrow.
