I have, Basic Dog Obedience, Bite Training Puppies, Building Drive, Grip & Focus w/ Bernhard Finks, First Steps to Bite Training, How to Raise a Working Puppy, Power of Dog Training w/ Food (M. Thanks for the suggestion. By lifting off do you mean choking off? I only did that when I was teaching the out. I can lift him up with the tug but he won't let go unless told to (or like previously choked off).

As far as the barking he only will bark once maybe twice on command but won't continue. Any suggestion to get him to continually bark until he get's the reward?

Blitzkrieg1 Dog looks like he has some ball drive. I would start mixing some motion exercises into the ball play. Another thing you can do to build drive is get the dog barking for the toy. I occasionally lift my dog off the ball too to add some frustration and drive. Lift him off toss the ball a few feet get him barking for it and let him get it.

Drive building critique (videos)

I watched some leerburg videos (one being: "building drive with Bernard Finks) and started the exercises when I got my pup at 8weeks. I started with a towel and progressed to a ball on string. I'd like to start introducing defensive drive (if I find a qualified helper) in the next year.

Please watch the videos below and critique the technique and let me know what I could change to get more out of my dog. He's just over a year and a half and a wgsl.
