Fodder I have a thought... perhaps moving the admin forum to the bottom of the list since it seems this mistake happens fairy often?

Castlemaid chase, there are sections for DOG questions as you scroll down the main page: behaviour questions, puppy questions, food questions, health questions, breeding questions, training questions, etc. The Forum you keep posting in is for questions about USING the board: How to change the sorting sequence of the posts, how to add a location to your user name, suggestions on setting up new sub-categories (like maybe a nose work forum?), etc.

Not all questions are the same.

car2ner I am not sure but I think it might be a bit of a language barrier. Perhaps English isn't the mother tongue so explanations aren't as clear as the might be.

no idea how to fix that issue. Guess you can't fix everything.

Actually, this sub-forum is called "Comments, Suggestions & Forum Questions", and is under the parent-forum "Administration." It really doesn't get any clearer than that. None of the 4-5 threads you've made here were even remotely suitable for this sub-forum, and each and every time an administrator tried to explain this to you.

The section you posted in is for suggestions, comments and questions about the board (questions about how the forum is run, suggestions on new rules and the like) usually the admins just move your thread to the appropriate section but for some reason yours were shut down. Before posting always read at least the titles of a few of the threads in that section just to make sure what you are about to post is similar and will belong there. When all else fails just post in "General Information" hard to go wrong with that

Because they always stay at the top of their forum, as if stuck there! A moderator or administrator can turn any thread into a sticky thread if they feel that it contains lots of valuable info and should be readily available and easy to find.

This dude will definitely raise the quality of the board.

Debanneball I came here.. learned a lot from the 'sticky' threads.. Still trying to figure why they are called 'sticky'. However, there is a lot of good information, and everyday I learn something new. GSD owners are very passionate about the breed, so maybe knowledge comes across in an abrupt language at times. Hang in there, you too will learn!
