JeanKBBMMMAAN Could be liver, could be kidney or probably there are other things too. I think doing a home made one is a great way to go.

Low protein diet - non-GSD

My daughter called and asked about a homemade low protein diet for her fiance's 15 year old dog of unknown heritage. She's about 15 lbs. Suggestions? I found an article or 2 that claim a low protein diet has no effect (or is detrimental). Input please.
