Hey thanks! In terms of her easy goingness she can be really intense, I've never had a dog that can be so intense and focused on something, but she is the most calm creature I've also met. She get's excited like crazy (as a puppy should) but she's not scared by any noises (cars, busses, fireworks, thunder, etc) and is in general very relaxed in any situation. More recently she's become quite a bit more vocal and she has barked at other dogs, without any ill intent, but I expect that from an adolescent. If she ever showed me her teeth or any aggression, towards anyone tbh, she'd very quickly find out what I think of that.

DoubleOPinter To answer the breeder question, she is from Wild Winds in Arthur, Ontario. Kathy there breeds black shepherds but also just regular ole black and tans as well. Mika has a lot of grey in her fur, seems to take after her dad Thor

Thor vom Kraftwerk 2

And I think more specifically his mother
SG Tabbenoca vom Kraftwerk

Her long fur from her mom

Wild Winds Greta Garbo

roym01 A hearty WELCOME from Caledon, Ontario!

Really interested in your experiences with your puppy. I also just purchased an 8 week old puppy from a recommended breeder in Ontario but have decided to keep it with the breeder for training until she is 6 months old. I am very curious to see if I made the right call and really won't know until I compare experiences with others in a few months.

All the best to you and your puppy. From my over one hundred hours of researching training methods the two words that really stand out are PATIENCE and CONSISTENCY.
