I wanted to add in a bit about sound!
I have two out of three sound sensitive dogs... found info about this app last night and have heard great things. Would be great to have for new puppies, and I'll also be using it for training purposes with my adults. I've been told it's "completely worth" the $5... Thinking of using it in classes, too!

I'm getting my pup tomorrow and this will surely help a lot.
Thanks for sharing

|Msmaria||I recently read another list also on the forum. Maybe someone can put them together and list as a sticky. These lists would have came in real handy when a newbie like me, was learning about raising a german shepherd puppy.|

What are you talking about? "dogs like that"?
Where are you seeing anything about "nervy" dogs in this post?
Geesh...it's just a list of ideas for socializing a puppy. Is there anything people WON'T argue about?
Here's the point to this post

Even dogs that appear to be solid puppies can change, go through fear periods, etc. or become completely different when they are home than when they were with their breeder.
You don't *know* that you have a solid nerved pup until you've exposed them to all these new things and watched them grow up a bit.
I thought I had a stable dog until he hit a year and a half and started growling at random people.

|Castlemaid||Ha, after the first few items, I realized that the author was from Victoria. Have been at many of those places listed with my first dog. I just enjoyed getting out and about and exploring, and having a dog just makes it that much more fun.|
