I'll need to try Haines Point. Another is Rock Creek Park...a friend of mine always takes his dogs swimming there and they love it!

|gsdsar||Very handsome boy!!! It has been years since I went into DC with a dog to walk around. It is a fairly dog friendly city. You may have inspired me to take a day trip before winter starts.|

I've been meaning to take Linus to DC but haven't do so yet.
By the way, the FDR Memorial permits dogs--it's an outdoor exhibit near the Jefferson Memorial. Also, Haines Point is a great place for a long walk by the river.
