Heidigsd Sorry, I missed the AKC part and I agree he is expensive.

atravis IPO-style.

I've talked to people about him, I'm sure he COULD tailor a training routine around what I want, but what I'm really looking for is someone who has experience and has titled dogs specifically in AKC tracking.

EDIT- also from what I understand, he's quite pricey. Which, I'm not trying to get off dirt cheap here, but in AL I paid $90 a year to track with the woman I was working with. I don't expect to get off that cheap here, but I'm also not looking to completely empty my pockets.

Tracking instructor in Austin TX

I've sent out some emails and asked around... but I've not been able to find anyone in the Austin area that focuses specifically on tracking.

There are a couple of IPO groups out here, but when I originally started tracking in AL, I was doing it with an AKC trainer with the goal of titling in AKC-style tracking, so that's really what I'm looking for.

Anyone know someone in this area to contact? Doesn't have to be in Austin proper, though preferably within an hour driving distance.
