qbchottu Spray vetericyn on it, apply a thin layer of bag balm, and put on toddler socks - you can secure it with vet tape. Use a cone and verbal discouragement to get him to leave it alone. Limit running and jumping - crate rest if he's very high drive

Shade When Delgado ripped both of his front paw pads (main pads as well) a few months ago I did a mild Epsom salt soak twice a day. In the morning after the soak I'd spray nuskin liquid bandage on it to try and keep most of the dirt/bacteria from everyday living out and at night after the soak I'd put a lot of polysporin on it along with socks to keep him from licking it off. It took a few days for him to stop limping and he was pretty much healed up a week later without issues

If he's already been on antibiotics and it's still not healing I'd bring him back to the vet, he may need another strain or longer dose of antibiotics or there may be something still caught inside the wound causing it to fester.

Abrasion on paw won't heal

Our gsd cut his paw about two weeks ago. He's been on antibiotics for a week but the wound doesn't seem to be healing, probably because it's on the main pad of his right paw. Any suggestions to get this fixed up? It looks quite sore at this point.
