dogfaeries I've had to start locking the door, since apparently Russell has sprouted thumbs and can turn a doorknob. Oh, and he's really pleased with himself too. I locked the bedroom door last night so I wouldn't wake up to 85 lbs of crazy dog landing on top of me.

Our bathroom is also small, and BOTH of them have to come in, and one has to lie down directly in front of the 'commode', the other in front of the sink. Getting out of the shower is always fun, too. First thing in the morning is always the worst. It's like they haven't seen you in days, although one is on the bed most of the night, the other on the floor where I have to do the splits to avoid her when I get up. But y'know, I guess I'd feel rejected if I ever had a dog that acted otherwise

I know, I can't believe I even posted that pic (let alone take it in the first place).

Momto2GSDs I just had to smile when I read the title! I too thought I was the only one this happened to!

I call Doogie "My Bathroom Buddy"!!!
Even if he is DEAD sound asleep, somehow, just when I think I am alone, and I've given him the slip.....here he comes all smiles with his ears laid back and a disk in his mouth! When I see that, I just can't be mad!

Our other dog backs out too, and there is plenty of room for her to turn around! When we had family over and told them about this, they actually went into the bathroom and sat there just to see her back out! LOL!

Great thread!
Great Pics!

DonnaKay Same with mine! My little lifeguard will sit there just in case I fall in. If I take too long, she'll jump in the tub and lay down. Just to be sure I won't fall down that drain, either. LOL
