Looking at the odds chances are high we will live tomorrow so better to plan for the future. When one has a good plan for the future it automatically takes the subject matter into account. So short answer, plan for the future.

Schaferhunde I actually have a lot of regrets. Most of them are small, but I still regret those choices. But, personally, I wouldn't care if I died unexpectedly died. I truly wouldn't even care if I died.

sehrgutcsg If I were to die today - the only thing that I can think that I would regret - was not having more California females in my immediate possession in the mid to late 70s and early 80s.

I missed too many opportunities - don't do what I did - take advantage - one wrong answer and you pass up a good thing!

brightspot I regret not having a "forever home" for ALL my pets. Back in the day, it was ok to sell a horse or find a good home for a dog. I will never do that again. (I hope you had a good life, Moxie, Ginger, Polly, Cap, Max, Topaz, Casey, Sassy, and Merlin. )

wolfy dog The one and only regret I have is sending a previous GSD to the wrong trainer in the '80s, on the advice of a policeman. They who ruined him, and turned him aggressive to children and I had to put him down (no choice at that time). The only good that came out of it was that I became a trainer myself. But it hurts to this day and hope to see him at the Bridge to apologize for my failure to protect him.
The rest of my life has been without regrets. Some things I wouldn't repeat but they made me who I am today, so no regrets in these.
