Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.

Dogs drowning?
Regarding the knife, for safety I am looking for a curved knife to cut him free if that ever happens again. Like this one (?):

RiverDan Thanks for sharing. Heading up north this weekend. Will carry a pocket knife for swimming.

Courtney Oh boy - would never think of that. Good idea with the pocket knife. Some dogs would start to panic. Glad he's ok.

Well, you have to give him credit for not losing his ball

FYI: be aware of lily pads

D fetched a toy from the water but took another path back and swam through a patch of lily pads. He briefly got tangled up, pulled himself lower in the water and just as I was ready to jump in, he broke free, never letting go of his toy. Scary and I will be careful next time and will be carrying a knife for sure.
