I forgot to mention : the best place to get hooks for a pot rack is out of a package of rubber bungee straps from Harbor Freight. The hooks are normally $12 for 4 hooks at kitchen supply places. The straps were $8 for 20 straps, so I got 40 hooks.

And I thought I was a crafty DIYer...because I made a doorstop out of an old boot....guess I have a ways to go yet.
