Courtney Agree with both Magwart & Springbrz.

Food allergies are really not that common and this is a young pup. I would focus on the environment first.

Outside of pesky flying insects like mentioned.

Do you use any powder floor products, Swiffer cleaner, change bedding, use a different detergent?

odins_raven If he is just scratching around his collar and you just put it on him recently then that is normal. Our little guy will scratch at his collar here and there (been getting better, hardly does it now) because he was not used to it at first.

Where has Koda been scratching? Also fleas are often hard to see so you need to look for their "poop" (black stuff) in the fur...

anitram Check him very, very carefully to see if he has any patches where the hair has thinned (like bald patches). They are obvious if on the face, but less obvious elsewhere if the hair covers them.

Hans was diagnosed with demodex after he scratched mercilessly. We gave him a few weeks to see if his immune system would get rid of it but in the end had to put him on ivermectin.

Momto2GSDs What flea treatment did you use?

When was his last vaccination and what was in it?

The Homeopathic below could help:
Only Natural Pet Skin & Itch Dog & Cat Homeopathic Remedy Give it away from food (20 minuets before and 20 minutes after) for best results.

But also look at his food as others have suggested.

Many have had great results with USDA Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (Non GMO, NO Hexane) purchased from a health food store.

Here are two great human grade oils, that I use, which also contain Coconut Oil and a combination of fish oils and hemp oil providing a balance of Omeg'a 6, 3, & 9's:
Sh-Emp Oil: SH-EMP OIL Nutritional oil

Springbrz Could be Natty flies or No-see-ums this time of year.

Magwart This time of year, I would think mosquitoes before I'd think food allergy.

wyoung2153 Could be allergies.. environmental or food or both. Did this just start? has it been going on? Did you start a new food?

igottabecrazy Indie was itchy for a while for no real reason I could see. Lamb instead of chicken seems to have cut that way down. It was quite a bit of trial and error.
