One day I came home from work. Traveler was about the age of your guy. He greeted me at the door and them turned over to get a belly rub. I looked down and he had this huge, and I mean huge bulge next to his penis. I immediately called my trainer. I'm thinking tumor or something.

After he got done laughing he said " He's just excited to see you". Needless to say, he never let me forget it.

Hahaha! That's hilarious!

Good to know that it (maybe? depending on the dog?) will go away eventually. Nox is intact too, and we're hoping we can keep him that way for life. (Our town is very small and has some very lax dog owners. Many people just let their dogs roam free and keep their dogs intact (it's natural! it's the way they were meant to be! they're living a natural lifestyle!) and it's not unheard of for a female in heat to be just roaming around. We don't want Nox fathering any oops litters, so if he becomes an escapist those testicles have to go! So far we haven't had any issues with him, knock on wood.)

dogfaeries Russell will be 2 next month and thankfully it's calmed down considerably. In fact, Carly is in heat right now, and he hadn't reverted back to showing it off continuously. He's intact, btw.

McWeagle Seriously, does the red rocket flaunting go away a bit after they grow up and the hormones stop raging? Nox's is out a LOT right now - nearly 8 mos old. And I mean, it's all the way out. My husband has started calling him "Woody."

cethlen1621 Our guy is a rescue that had been used as breeding stock at a puppy mill for about 5-ish years. He was then neutered at the Humane Society location we got him from. We've had him about 7 months & it still shows up now & again when he sits & seems generally happy. Something he can't really control we assume.

AngelaA6 My boy is neutered (was neutered by the shelter at 4 months) but it still makes an appearance. Just gotta get use it. I just have him lay down and relax and it goes away Trust me you'll get used to it. I was really only around girl dogs and when I saw that little knot pop out I was like O.O put it away please! No one wants to see that!
