Bowel movement

Hi guys, I am curious what's going on with my shepherd. He is a 1.5yr old I am feeding him origien regional kibble. My concern is that sometimes he does not poop right after feeding. He is at 4 and 1/4 cups a day 2 1/4 in morning and 2 at night he gets feed 8-12hrs apart. Sometimes when we feed him in the morning 7:30 he will not poop until around lunch at 12- 1pm. The past two days he won't poop until late in the afternoon such as 5:00pm.I have been watching him for bloat but he seems ok thus far, still super energetic, not walking or sitting funny, etc. I am considering a probiotic for him to keep him with good bowel movements, any thoughts on this issue would be great?
