jafo220 OK. I have a question. On the first video, it's a three hour video. What would be a good way to cut this into workable chapters? Or how much would you group together and then how long would you work on what you have watched. I know that it depends on the dog and myself as far as comprehension goes, but maybe a ballpark of what to do. Or is this explained in the video also?

I'm new to training videos.

jafo220 Thanks for the input.

wildo I have the first DVD, but not the second. The first is quite good- certainly better than how K9 Nosework (as an organization) wants you to train it! I've also heard very good things about Denise Fenzi's methods.

Cassidy's Mom Halo and I appear briefly in the first DVD of the series, The Foundation of Nosework. We trained with Andrew for around 6 months a few years ago. I haven't actually seen any of the DVDs, but it was great to work with Andrew.

Yeh, that's the ones I'm talking about. They seem like they are pretty thorough. I'm thinking of doing this to see how he does and if he shows interest. He's needing a hobby so to speak. I think he's getting board. He likes to get out and follow what ever it is he picks up on. I'd rather it be something constructive.

Leerburg scent training videos.

I was wondering if anyone has used or watched these scent training videos yet. Does anyone have any opinions on them.

I figured this would make a good pastime for Cruz and myself when we get bored with other forms of recreation. I've watched an intro to the videos and it seems straight forward.
