Baillif Hard to see from that particular video but i saw from a clearer one he actually had his back facing the dog so that the hit at the legs wouldn't jam the dog.

Baillif A good chunk of them will slow down before a hit. Some will just hit you for the take down as you saw. Ive seen some that will drop a guy on a face attack when hes ready to try to catch. That was also a fairly small mal. Lucky for him.

ApselBear Mals are smaller than GSDs, but faster. It is more about their drive and intensity from what I've read on here from Baillif and other trainers. Mals, apparently, do not understand fear, slowing down, pain, or reserving energy.

lalachka Isn't it just weight and speed? I stay out if my boy's way when he's running, I've never stuck around to see what exactly will happen if he runs into me but I'm sure I will fly somewhere.
