Baillif When you see the dog barking with the deep bark and then suddenly jerk his head to the side to avoid and the high pitched bark happens that was a brief high level stim on the e collar. It wasn't super obvious because he didn't mark it. He also didn't really have much of an apparent rhyme or reason as to when he decided to press the button. A few times he seemed like he was waiting for the dog to go from barking to a lunge before the stim and sometimes he actually allowed the dog to bite before the stim. If you watch again looking closely for the barking pitch change and the sudden jerking and avoidance you'll see the stims.

Baillif I don't like that the punishment wasn't marked. He failed to stim early enough in the behavior to stop the behavior from being practiced and a few times there failed to stim intensely enough to stop the behavior period. He isn't refined and got a lot wrong but he got it right enough to stop the behavior so I think that's great. It's great progress and he was able to make friends with the dog afterward. It's a case of operant agression, and he's basically handling it like it should be handled with the exception of the stuff I mentioned. Also allowing the dog to actually carry through to a bite was just silly. It's completely unnecessary. I don't know if it crosses over into being counterproductive, depending on how the stim was used.

Other than that the dog is fine. Panting ok but it was acting like a complete idiot not long before that so that's to be expected.
