Sunflowers The dog has too much house freedom. That has to be earned. Keep the dog on a leash or tethered to you, and it's going to be quite a while before you can let it loose.

For us it was a year and a half.

Twyla Leash the puppy.

Teach your child not to run from the puppy. Puppy only sees this as an invitation to play.

This link will have LOTS of info for teaching your puppy not to bite:

Puppy biting daughter!

Looking for a bit of help.. its my first time owning a GSD and im unsure on what to do about biting.

The pup bites me and hubby but soon stops but as soon as my daughter is in the room she goes straight for her.. doesn't help my daughter runs away and whines whilst the dog chases her. It is only nibbles but i dont want it to cause any further problems or harder bites!

The puppy has plenty of chew toys and clicker training twice a day, we try to socialize her as much as possible with other animals and humans but i cant take her out for a good walk for another 4 weeks due to her jabs. The puppy will listen to us if you tell her no or make a spraying noise but obviously my daughter cant make them noises to tell her no!

I want them to bond and not have my daughter scared - when she first seen the pup she said "aww" and stroked the dog so im not sure where its gone wrong :/

We made the rule that no matter you must tell the dog no but unfortunately some family members see it as playing and dont tell the dog no..

Any help?
