Muskeg Thanks- it actually looks like Amazon has what I need! With free shipping. So I'll go that route.

Mary Beth Sorry, I don't know of any. I suggest you try contacting an IPO or Schutzhund club in Alaska to ask where they get their equipment. Also try searching for a vendor in Canada - maybe the shipping would be cheaper.

Equipment with cheap shipping to Alaska?

I'll be starting a few pups with the basics of bitework and need a bite pillow, bite wedge, puppy sleeve, puppy rag.

The vendor I chose was asking $38 for shipping on a $120 purchase, which seem excessive. I've looked around but couldn't find any vendors that ship for a flat rate or for free to Alaska, and have the equipment I need.

Does anyone know of an online vendor that does? Paying roughly 30% of the cost of a purchase in shipping seems excessive. I generally order my other dog stuff (Frisbees, tugs, balls on rope, treats, feeding supplies) on Amazon and get free shipping, but they don't carry what I'm looking for in terms of drive building/bitework specific equipment.
