Wonderful news! I love the big hats for sun protection....if you've got clean margins and they weren't into deep tissue, you should be good! Are you scheduled for your routine skin checks? My son had the blue stitches all summer, but he thought they were so cool..the grafts took well, but since they were on his shoulder blades and he was active he's got some big scars, but hey it's better than the alternative. I'm happy for you!

SummerGSDLover No. They removed some skin and did a graft over it. It was on my ear. Why do you ask?

thank you. they had to do skin grafting on Monday for the margins procedure. find out next week if they got it all. :/

Took a couple attempts to get clear margins, but they finally did 2 months later...been well ever since, though at 34 he's pretty sick of me reminding him about sunscreen....good luck!
