Lilie I've only used it once because that person kept PMing me. +

I don't let posts in threads bother me too much. If I'm looking for information I'll skip the posts where folks just like to see their thoughts in print and/or the folks who copy what someone else says but re-words it to make it look original. Those folks do it often enough that you know who they are.

But when they get stinky with me on PMs - I don't bother with them, I just ignore.

LaRen616 I've never used it on here before, if I ignored all the people I don't like then I'd only have a few posts to read.

CelticGlory I usually don't use it but some people know how to press my hot button sometimes. I don't want to get banned so I don't post what in certain threads anymore.

Syaoransbear I once put someone who I consider a long term troll on ignore but it would just block out what they wrote but still show that they wrote something. My curiosity always made me too interested in what they said that was blocked out. It was kind of like when someone says "Can I tell you a secret?" then they say "oh nevermind". It was easier to keep them off ignore and just skim over their posts when they showed up instead of having their posts blocked out and obsessing over what they might have written. Darn curiosity.

Sunflowers There are a couple of people I have on ignore who I find extremely belligerent.
Unfortunately, if they are quoted or if they start threads or if I'm signed off I can still see their posts. :/

Gwenhwyfair Thank you.

in blue - It takes practice but if you can, try to let it go. Better for you. In the meantime, nothing wrong with using the ignore button if needed.

I like reading your posts.

I hope you're doing well this morning, thinking of ya.

in general not directed at you Zeeva, I've only used ignore to stop a couple of people from PMing me too. That's the only reason.

Otherwise, while I get frustrated like everyone else, it passes after a couple of days and I forget about it. I scroll past threads/posts I don't want to get involved in.

IMHO choose to be kind when ever you can. When you have a spat with someone (hey it happens to all of us) just let it go. I can have a disagreement with someone and the next day read something they write that I think is very informative and helpful and I will say so too. They may not want even kind words from me because they are still angry, but too bad. I'm going to be nice whether they like it or not!

No one is perfect, life can be hard enough as it is (right my friend?) we don't need to add to it......
