Cara Fusinato My SD went to jury duty too -- not his summons though -- mine. The lawyers actually released me and asked if the dog could stay on the jury -- I believe they were joking. The judge dismissed us both.

Yes, my dog ordered frequently from Amazon, Petsmart home delivery, and one of those mail order dog food places (I forget which one) but my food wasn't offered in my rural area at the time.

He's been gone nearly 2-1/2 years and when his card renewed this time I finally called in and cancelled it. Fortunately, his name is a somewhat gender nonspecific one and they would talk to me about the card.

selzer LOL! That's what happens when you list the little buggers as dependents on your income taxes.

Careful - this dog will be able to cast a vote next. lol
Haha ... In NJ she may have already voted ... likely more than once. My daughter was called for jury duty in NJ several years ago, she was 7 at the time.

DellaWrangler My vet addresses all the appointment reminders to Della [Mylastname]. The text typically reads something like: "Della, did you know that April is Heartworm awareness month?"

"Why, no maam. I was not aware of that. Let me drive myself right over, pay my own vet bill, then drive back and take the medicine you prescribed. Oh, wait, nevermind, I'm still a dog

Daisy&Lucky's Mom Love it. Im sure IV would make a great juror as long as the jury didn't get sequestere.

Cara Fusinato My SD got his own credit card. He was offered one and I wanted to see if it REALLY could happen since there had been some news articles about it happening. Apparently, he had a great credit score and got issued a card in his name. He got quite good at shopping online. I, of course, paid for his purchases.
