volcano I kinda encouraged this when my girl did minor stuff like pick up a napkin and tear it up. Shed know she was getting away with bad stuff, id pretend to catch her and say no playfully. so that way she never tore up expensive stuff

kjdreyer Yes, Jedda did that exact same thing! A total prancey little step - look at me, look at me, I got a sock!

Harry and Lola My 3yo GSD male still does this - he is such a naughty boy. He does that military style of walk where his front legs come straight up to his face as he walks when he has a toy. It's a playful walk and he is telling us and my other GSD girl that he wants to play.

Pax8 Yes, most definitely. Mine absolutely prances when he gets something he's not supposed to have or just wants to show off a toy. When he's done prancing, he'll flop on his back and flail while he does a silly growl through whatever he has in his mouth. "AwrRawrRawrRawr!"

Tim&Marth Olivia tends to trot like a horse when she has something in her mouth. The best is when we play with the frisbee disc outside. If she manages to get a hold of it, off she goes in her victory trot with her head back prancing away.

Not so funny when she steals my sock and does it

MelissaC I laughed when I read this... Axel does this... I don't even have to be in the same room to know he's taken something he shouldn't!

Ellimaybel Oh yeah lol The silly prancing along with the head movements. He looks at me with a huge silly grin, cocks his head down and sideways, and then prances off in a circle with it. Oh it's so hilarious and adorable!

doggie touchdown dance

Mine does it too. I think of it as his touchdown dance. He thinks he's hot stuff until I take it away.

Haha that sounds familiar except with my cloth headbands. He loves those things.
