Oisin's Aoire Absolutely get a trainer ASAP , and keep them separated 100% of the time. It only takes a split second for something bad to happen unfortunately. I agree with gsdsar ..this is not something that can be evaluated on the forum. Maybe people can suggest a good trainer for you in your area?

gsdsar You need a trainer to evaluate her. Sorry. No one on a web board can tell why she is acting the way she is and your baby and her safety are paramount.

If you dog is already a fearful dog, a trainer can help to determine if she can be safe with the baby. Until you get a qualified opinion, keep them separate.

Hi everyone.
I have a four month old baby, and an eighteen month old gsd female. She is a bit fearful. She is definitely not the alpha kind. We have issues with her, the most important being totally uncontrollable during walks, I take her for walks. She is ok around the baby. tries to lick him, but generally does not venture near him once she has been told not to do so.
Today morning,the baby was on the bed and she was just roaming around the house. After some time she came into the room, climbed on the bed and started barking threateningly at tne baby. I shouted at her, and my hubby took her out of the house. But now I am really afraid and curious about this kind of behaviour.
Can I get any insights on what was that.
And what should I d
