Soundguy I'm just trying to get a better idea so others can jump in. She may not be getting enough exercise to build her rear end. What else does she do besides walk? Is she off leash to play? what does she look like when she runs, turns, etc. Is she long legged? A little more info might be helpful.

DJEtzel I would do rear-end exercises like rear-end awareness/pivot work on a pedestal and some on a yoga ball/fit paws ball, etc.

Really soft back end??? please help

Hello everyone , our gsd bitch who is 15 months old seems to be filling out well except from her rear end which is really soft and feels like there no muscle mass there at all , im getting really worried I took her to the vet but the vet said it may be ok. This is my first german shepherd and I really don't know why her rear is so soft with no muscle but everything else is filling out, she gets walked about an hour or 2 hours everyday and gets fed on royal canin, can someone give some advice?
