Okin We never go for a walk further than my block without seeing other dogs, usually see them on our block. Even when we had a lot of snow you saw people out with their dogs. I live in a walking friendly community and a lot of the stores also allow dogs in them. I can walk up to the hardware store and have my dog with me!

Shade There are quite a few dogs that live on my road, probably 15. Thankfully Delgado is non-reactive to their attempts at fence fighting or barking through the door at him while we walk by otherwise just getting out of the neighborhood would be a nightmare. There's only one who leaves their dog out in their front yard unleashed on a regular basis, we avoid walking that way if I see him out as he's a large husky mix. He doesn't seem aggressive most of the time but I've seen him hackle and bark before and am not willing to take the chance of him running over

nktigger99 I see a few regulars walking their dogs.....most have dogs but never take them out. We had lived here over a year before we found out our next door neighbor has two dogs....they only get let out one or two times a day to the backyard....and they have never left the house out the front that we have ever seen. It is a pit mix and a Yorke.

d4lilbitz On my court alone, the are 10 dogs total. About 85% of the neighborhood is fenced, so many times I see the dogs out in the yard with their people when we're on our walks. On our walks we always see the regulars (which is about 15 different families out) depending on the day and time of our walks. Now that it's daylight longer, more people are out, which is great for the dogs!

Alice13 Very. The house beside mine has 3, the two houses opposite has 1 each, I have 1 the house behind mine has 2 I think. In short, almost every house in my neighbourhood has at least 1.

tottie86 Our neighbours behind us have 4 dogs, the ones beside us have 1. We have 3.
It's a very dog active neighbourhood.

sechattin Probably more than half my neighborhood has dogs. It's an active dog neighborhood on nice days. I'll see a lot of people and meet four or five dog on my walks if I'm out in 65 to 80 degree weather on sunny days. But the second there is a cloud or shower, everyone seems to lock up inside and it's just me and my dog walking outside. I know there are even more dogs than I see out on walks in my neighborhood because every other yard I pass I get dogs barking like crazy at me from the other side of the fence.

Serbrider If you consider "doggy active" as the dogs live outside 24/7 and often get loose and roam the area unfixed and digging through trash and messing with your dogs trying to enjoy a few hours outside in the sun... And the owners just shrug and say they are escape artists... Then yes, I love in a doggy active neighborhood.
