ZoeD1217 We are going through this as well. Zoe will be 11 weeks tomorrow and last week my 5 yr old was laughing hysterically bc Zoe was "riding" the puppy pillow pet 0.o
And in about a weeks time she has tried to hump us all at various times. Usually when the kids are on the floor putting on their shoes.

mego puppies hump in play, they are maturing etc, I wouldn't think much of it

I will say my female tried to hump my leg once at like 10 weeks and it shocked me so much, I couldn't help but scream and shove her off me and she never tried it again LOL

kakarot The first time I saw my pup try to hump something was literally the middle of 8 weeks. I was mortified since.. I didn't think that would start happening until WAY later. I wasn't prepared. Haha. He'll sometimes try to hump his bed or like.. a pair of pants on the floor (it isn't straight humping either, it's like.. he's biting/playing with it, THEN he tries to hump) but a firm, stern NO makes him stop. I'm just really glad he caught on to the no word REALLY quick.

but yeah, I'd assume the females can be dominate as well as males.. so they're all gonna hump or try to hump eventually. Keep correcting the behavior and she'll eventually get it. I also try to keep humpable things away from him while I'm not giving him 100% of my attn just so he doesn't try to do it when I'm not looking. lol

Harry and Lola My female will hump our cat whenever she gets the opportunity (which is not often as our cat is the boss!). Harry will occasionally hump Lola's head?

It can be a dominance issue or her trying to get your attention. I would gently but firmly remove her from your leg and walk away, don't laugh at her or reinforce the behaviour, you should aim to ignore this behaviour from her and be consistent, give her plenty of attention otherwise but if she starts humping you, walk away.

13 week old female humping.

3x today she's wrapped her paws around my leg and started humping. It's funny but coming from a bitch is this early signs of dominant behavior??
