CleoPatrick Thank you for your words of advice. I never gave Cleo puppy chow after she was 12 weeks. My trainer said it made them grow to fast, I feed her Blue for adults. I'll definitely cut back to 2 times per day.
Thanks Again.

Harry and Lola 50 pounds at 5 months for a girl is a perfectly fine weight. She should have a trim waist and be able to feel ribs through a thin layer of fat. At 5 months, I would reduce her feeds down from 3 to 2 per day and you could put her on the adult version of your chosen kibble as well, this may contribute to slowing her growth so that she doesn't grow too quickly, she will still reach her potential but you want to grow them slowly.

Galathiel I heard the same thing from my mother at that age. If your dog is lean, but not skinny, ribs felt but not visible except for maybe the last rib, nice waist, hip bones not protruding, then your pup is probably fine. At that age, my pup was even eating 2 cups three times a day!

My GSD weight about 50 pounds, and she is 5 months. Ever time my mother comes by she exclaims how Cleo is skinny, underweight and how she can feel Cleo's ribs. She says I should feed her more, but I am feeding Cleo three times a day with a cup and a half each meal. I was even thinking of cutting back on how much I am feeding her. She seems healthy to me. Can anybody give me any advice on this matter?
