LifeofRiley Hi,

I think this site has a lot of great information on seizures for someone who is new to the topic.

shepherdmom I had a GS with seizures...but it was brought on by a tick illness and not something that was genetic.

I have recently been asked by a friend of mine if it's true that GSD are prone to siezures. I do not know the answer to this. I then saw a post on a local recue site for GSD about one of their GSD and how like "many other GSD", he is on "anti-seizure" meds. Can anyone tell me about this? AS far as, why or when or if? Is it something that would appear when they are a puppy or a teen or an adult? Curious curious...thanks in advance for any knowledge. Kim
