Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.

I have to comment on that, dont plug your worries into google because next thing you know your dog will be all sorts of dying and you may have ebola. Ha.

Nyx Thanks guys/gals.

I just notice a few BIG dead birds laying about and west nile or BF always pops into my mind.

Then the two beasts bring in this robin and I just know they could not have caught it, not together, they are too loud outside together.

So I sorta worried a bit. Just needed some re assurances.

Again Thanks.

Nigel I would just keep a close watch, probably no big deal, especially this time of year. I'm a little north of you and though we've warmed up a bit lately, still too cold for mosquitos, add in the high winds, any that may of hatched are on there way to the Midwest.

huntergreen i would ask my vet about any possible problems.

martemchik I don't believe it would be bird flu...but I'm not quite sure how that one is transferred and its unlikely that it can jump to a dog. Humans generally get a mutated version of the virus for some other reason.

West nile is transferred through mosquitos. So unless its an unusually warm February up there in Washington, that's probably not a huge worry.

Baillif Wouldnt be worried about viruses like that chances of infection are laughably low

TommyB681 Ive had dead birds and mice brought to be and havent had any sort of issues yet. Obviously if they get sick take them to the vet, vomiting, diarrhea

Freaking: Dead bird

Ok so I let my two sharks out this morning and they bring me a dead bird.

It is intact, but they have obviously been playing with it. It is slimmed and obviously very mouthed. But no guts or blood evident. I honestly can't see these two catching it.

Now in our area the Bird Flu and West Nile run rampant.

How freaked should I be?
And what do I look for as symptoms in my dogs?
